Our Mats feature a slip resistant back with a coir front. We use high-quality acrylic rubber paint on the mats to help prevent fading. Each mat is meticulously hand painted to ensure the ink affixes directly to each fiber in the material.

Mat Color: Light Tan. Coir mats are a natural fiber product. As with any natural product you can expect to see a variation in the coir fiber color on your mat. Some lighter areas and some darker areas.

What is Coir?: Coir, or coconut fiber, is a natural fiber extracted from the outer husk of coconut and used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes and mattresses.

Cleaning: Natural Coir are easy to clean, simply shake out your rug or vacuum as needed.

Care instructions: To ensure the longevity of your new doormat, we strongly encourage placing your doormat in a protected area such as a covered porch, or garage. Direct rain or snow will decrease the longevity of your doormat. As with all natural fiber mats if your mat gets wet the natural fibers will darken and remain dark. If your doormat gets wet, simply turn it over so the water can run out, then let is dry in the sun. Doing this will prolong the life of your new doormat.
